How to Apply for a new PAN Card on the NSDL Website
If you are applying for a new PAN Card, you will have to fill in Form 49A r 49AA depending that whether you r an Indian citizen r a foreign citizen. Keep in mind that this is primarily for all those applicants who don't currently have a PAN Card and have never applied for one. Here are the steps by steps to follow:
Step 1: Visit the NSDL Official Website's Select Online PAN Application.
Step 2: Select your application type: Form 49A (if u are Indian Citizens) or 49AA (if u are Foreign Citizens) or Changes or Correction in Existing PAN/Reprint of your PAN Card.
Step 3: Select your Category. The options r: Individual, Association of Personss, Body of Individuals, Trust, Limited Liability Partnerships, Firm, Government, Hindu Undivided Familys, Artificial Judicial Person, and Local Authority. (Miximum Cases Fill there Individual
Step 4: Fill in the Title, Name, First fill Last name/surname, First name, Middle Name, Date of Birth/Incorporation/Formation in like as DD/MM/YYYY format, Email ID, Mobile number, and Captcha code. Submit the form first page.
Step 5: On that next page you will receive an acknowledgement with a token number note that acknowledge and token number . Click on 'Continue option with PAN Application Form' on that page.
Step 6: You will be directed to fill all more personal details similar as to Form 49A or Form 49AA. Input all your necessary information then Submit .
Step 7: Choose how to you want to submit the documents. You can: a) Forward application documents by physically; b) Submit digitally through digital signature(if your Mobile is linked with Aadhaar); c) Submit digitally through e-sign.
Step 8: On that same page, indicate what documents you are submitting as proofs for identity, proof of address, and date of birth document. Confirm the declaration, place and date of the application. Review and submit the form. Make sure you make have no mistakes.
Step 9: Click on the 'Proceed' tag and you will be taken to the payment options. Choose between Demand Draft and Online Payment through Bill Desk, Net Banking, Debit Card etc.
Step 10: If you have choose Demand Draft, then you will have had to make a DD before you begin the application process as u have to provide the DD number, date of the issue, amount, and the name of the bank from where DD is generated on that portal.
Step 11: If you choose Bill Desk, then you can pay through Net Banking, and Debit Cards or Credit Cards or may be with BHIM UPI .
Step 12: Click on the 'I agree to terms of all service' and proceed to pay. The fees charged for PAN application will be vary based on whether you r sending documents separately to NSDL or uploading by online.
Step 13:If you pay by online by using your credit card or debit card or via net banking, you will receive an acknowledgement receipt and a payment receipt. Be reminder Print the acknowledgement receipt.
Step 14: Attach with two recent photographs along with that acknowledgement receipt.
Step 15: After payment is confirmed Successfully , send the supporting documents via post or courier to NSDL office .
Once your documents are received, by NSDL will process your application. If u have provided your office address as your preferred address for communication, then you will also need to submit proof of your office address along with your residential address proof.
